Metric Search have partnered with a leading L4 AV organization that have successfully deployed their autonomous driving technology across the United States, including multiple safety driver-out, fully autonomous deployments.
To robustify their AV stack & enable safety driver-out operation in more ODDs they are seeking to hire a Team Lead for ML-based Behavior Prediction.
What you'll do
- Technical Leadership of a team of 3-7 engineers responsible for the architecture, design & and delivery of a multi-modal prediction system
- Contribute to the research and development of algorithms to accurately predict the future movements and actions of other road users (vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians)
- Develop offline data-driven platforms for fast adaptation & validation of behavior prediction models
Requirements
- PhD or Master's Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or other related fields
- Familiarity with machine learning models (LSTM & Transformer architectures)
- 5+ years of experience within autonomy programs (ADAS/AD preferred)
- Peer-reviewed research in leading conferences (NeurIPS, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICRA, ICML, ICLR, IROS etc.)
- Proficiency in C/C++ or Python
- Familiarity with Deep Learning Frameworks (PyTorch / TensorFlow)
- Team Leadership Experience
